I am looking for a new small camera. It need not shoot RAW but if not, it must save jpegs at the absolute highest quality so that no artifacts are introduced and there is no smearing of fine detail.
As a preliminary to looking for a camera to fit this description, I having been taking shots with a camera I have owned since about 2005, but which I have not used for a couple of years. It is a Nikon Coolpix P2. Here are a couple of shots to see what its images look like on the web.
