Nikon D700 At ISO 1600 – Portrait Photograph

I said in the last post that though the D700 is a great camera, it suffers at ISO 1600 for nature shots.

For portraits at ISO 1600 like this one though, it seems absolutely fine, and it is a pleasure to be able to take shots at fast shutter speeds. It makes the whole experience so much more relaxed.

I shot this in RAW and converted it in Adobe Camera Raw and then sharpened it using Smart Sharpen in Photoshop CS3 – that’s it.

Excellent detail for 1600 ISO. Thanks for the image and the info.
