The font I used in this graphic below here is Myriad Pro.
It was designed in the late 1980s at Adobe Systems by Carol Twombly and Robert Slimbach and released in its original incarnation of Myriad MM in 1992. Myriad Pro was released in 2000.
Myriad Pro is used by Apple Corporation for its corporate house style, as you can see by looking here at the Apple website.
It is a lovely typeface but not as individual as the Merge typeface available from FontSquirrel and designed by Philatype from where it is also available.
That is the font or typeface that I am using at the moment for the header image for Photograph Works.
This is the Merge font

This is very informative, will look into the merge font, we actually use myriad on a daily basis!
I prefer this more than any other fonts that are available because I love the simplicity of it.
I have learned that Myriad is a humanist sans-serif typeface designed by Robert Slimbach and Carol Twombly for Adobe Systems. Myriad is also used in the corporate identities of Wells Fargo, Wal-Mart, and Modern Telegraph, as the primary headline typefaces of those companies.
Very nice and informative blog you have given, and the font you have discussed above is also nice too.
