Yes, I think it’s very good.
I saw a video being shot a few days ago by someone I know. I am just getting into video, but I think the thing I am going to concentrate on is controlling the light and keeping the overall contrast down.
I wouldn’t expect my still camera to deal with blazing sun and deep shadow – so why expect a video camera (especially the iPhone kind) to be able to deal with it.
Yea, the iPhone handles it VERY well. And apparently, theres a touch-to-focus feature for video now too. The old iphone lacked this feature, and it was a nice addition to the iPhone 4. I’ve actually just purchased the iphone 4, but I haven’t had a chance to play with video yet! Will be doing this soon.
A few of my buddies have picked up the iPhone 4 and have been playing with the new HD video camera non-stop. Needless to say, I am completely jealous! Being able to carry around an HD cam in your pocket is awesome.
