Hey, I was just going through comments from my old wordpress blog and you'd commented on my post, "Dirt," right before I'd moved my blog (same reasons as you did, but I didn't have the nerve to try out Wordpress.org, so thanks for your post - on your old blog - explaining it a bit. I just might download it and play around, as I am paying Typepad right now for what WP offers for free). Anyway, thanks for your comment, it made my day, especially "eat a peck of dirt before you die," the new thing I'll be saying to swaddling and mollycoddling souls who think kids should not get dirty! :)

I love your photos of the lady, below. Her face is beautiful!

They look great to the uninitiated like me! But who the hell is 'Justin Focus'? And why is he giving me those 'come to bed' eyes with that expectant pout? I'm not like that, Justin, honest!

Many thanks, and will do!

I think the photo is particularly poignant because of the contrast between the beauty of the old buildings and the power of the swollen river, though the river is beautiful also.

When I was looking at the scene I was thinking of what the buildings must be like inside and how they were in danger after having stood there for so many years.

What an amazing photo....I felt so bad for all of those who were displaced by the floods in England. We saw much of it on the news coverage here in the U.S

I have been looking through your photos. I have enjoyed seeing parts of your country....It is one of the places I hope to visit before my days end... :-) Continue to share if you would please?
