I have been running a number of sites (including this one) with Dreamhost for several years and their reliability for a long time has been such that I feel very good about recommending them.

Cost
The monthly plan with Dreamhost costs $10.95 per month plus a one-time setup fee of $49.95. So the total cost for the first year works out at $15.11 per month.

Pay for one year in advance and it is $119.40 with no setup fee, which works out to $9.95 per month.

Pay for two years in advance and it is $214.80 with no setup fee, which works out at $8.95 per month.
