I photographed this man on the street during the Edinburgh Festival in 2013.
He was playing in She Dances With Fate a flamenco, hip-hop, shamanistic dubstep production by Two Pentacles, from Albuquerque, New Mexico.
I like the warpaint and the way it contrasts with the sunglasses.

From 2008 to 2015 he performed annual stand-up shows at the Edinburgh Fringe, and it was in Edinburgh in 2015 that I photographed him.
Nick Hall is a comedian. He appeared in his solo show ‘Dodecahedron’ at the 2015 Edinburgh Fringe and I photographed him at the Fringe that year.
He was member of the sketch group The Three Englishmen, and he has written for television and radio.
