There’s a predominant type in the assemblage – English born, with fairly small features, and tallish with a figure that leans towards androgynous. And a definite sense of hanging out together and yet separate and poised.
How does it happen? What confluence of forces makes an outcome? It is not the same as London women sixty or seventy years ago, if photos from then are anything to go by.
